Synode sur la famille : filiale supplique au Saint-Père

Un groupe d'organisations pro-famille et de laïcs catholiques, inquiets de voir la manière dont l'enseignement de l'Eglise sur le mariage et la morale sexuelle fait l'objet de fausses interprétations dans le sillage de la confusion semée à l'occasion du synode extraordinaire sur la famille, adresse une Filiale supplique au Saint-Père pour lui demander de réaffirmer de façon catégorique :

« l'enseignement de l'Eglise selon lesquels les catholiques divorcés ayant contracté un second mariage ne peuvent recevoir la sainte Communion, et que les unions homosexuelles sont contraires à la loi divine et naturelle. »

Cette supplique n'est pas sans rappeler celle que fit en son temps Jean Madiran, la « Réclamation au Saint-Père » par laquelle il demanda à Paul VI, le 27 octobre 1972, « Rendez-nous l'Ecriture, le catéchisme et la messe ».

La présente supplique rend compte à la fois de la fidélité et du désarroi des catholiques attachés à l'enseignement certain de l'Eglise qui voient celui-ci remis en question par le jeu d'une l'exploitation médiatique trop heureuse de faire croire que la « révolution sexuelle » serait irréprochable.

Très Saint Père,

En vue du Synode sur la famille d’octobre 2015, nous nous adressons filialement à V.S. pour lui manifester nos appréhensions et nos espérances concernant l’avenir de la famille.

Nos appréhensions viennent de ce que nous assistons depuis plusieurs dizaines d’années à une révolution sexuelle qui mine progressivement l’existence même de la famille comme cellule de base de la société, sous l’effet d’une alliance entre de puissantes organisations et des forces politiques et médiatiques.

 Depuis la Révolution de 1968, une évolution graduelle et systématique de mœurs opposées à la loi naturelle et divine nous est infligée de force et se révèle si impitoyable qu’on en vient, par exemple, à enseigner en de nombreux établissements scolaires l’aberrante “l’idéologie du genre”, et ce dès l’enfance.

Devant cet obscur tableau idéologique, l’enseignement catholique sur le Sixième Commandement de la Loi de Dieu est comme une torche enflammée qui attire de nombreuses personnes – saturées de propagande hédoniste – vers le modèle chaste et fécond de famille prêché par l’Évangile et conforme à l’ordre naturel.

Sainteté, sur la base des informations véhiculées à l’occasion du dernier Synode, nous constatons avec douleur que, pour des millions de fidèles, la lumière de cette torche a semblé vaciller face aux vents malsains de modes de vie propagés par des lobbies anti-chrétiens. En effet, nous remarquons une désorientation généralisée causée par l’éventualité qu’au sein de l’Église se soit ouverte une brèche permettant l’acceptation de l’adultère – moyennant l’admission à l’Eucharistie de couples divorcés civilement remariés – et jusqu’à une virtuelle acceptation des unions homosexuelles, pratiques condamnées de façon catégorique comme contraires à la loi divine et naturelle.

Et c’est paradoxalement de cette désorientation que jaillit notre espérance.

Car, dans cette situation, seule Votre parole éclairante sera capable de faire refluer la confusion grandissant parmi les fidèles. Elle empêcherait que l’enseignement de Jésus-Christ lui-même soit relativisé et dissiperait les ténèbres qui se projettent sur l’avenir de nos enfants, dans le cas où la torche cesserait d’illuminer le chemin.

Cette parole, Très Saint Père, nous la requérons le cœur plein de dévotion pour tout ce que vous êtes et représentez, sûrs qu’elle ne pourra jamais dissocier la pratique pastorale de l’enseignement légué par Jésus-Christ et vos prédécesseurs, dissociation qui ne ferait qu’augmenter la confusion. Jésus nous a très clairement enseigné, en effet, la cohérence qui doit exister entre la vérité et la vie (cf. Jn 14, 6-7) de même qu’Il nous a averti que seule la mise en pratique de sa doctrine permet de ne pas succomber (cf. Mt 7, 24-27).

En implorant la Bénédiction apostolique de Votre Sainteté, nous L’assurons de nos prières auprès de la Sainte Famille – Jésus, Marie et Joseph – pour que celle-ci L’illumine dans ces circonstances cruciales.
